Sorry I'm late replying to your email but I just got back from
bagging a great Merriam's long beard with a memory maker glass
call. Well, now I know they work on Merriam's, Eastern, Rios, and
Goulds. I expect to test them on Osceola's in a year or so . As
you know, I'm an avid hunter and call collector and I consider
your pot calls the best which, I guess is not surprising since
you are the recipient of the 2005 NWTF D. D. Adams Award. The versatility
of your slate, glass, and aluminum calls spell nothing but trouble
for long beards. When it comes to turkey hunting, I don't leave
home without them, Good Huntn'; Ray

I've been infatuated with turkey hunting for over 20 years and
now hunt exclusively with a small collection of custom built calls
that have become my favorites because of their unique sound qualities.
The ambrosia maple glass over slate call and bocote striker you
made produces some of the purest yelps of any of my calls and,
simply put, sounds incredible. The beauty of the wood and your
craftsmanship are just a bonus. This is the reason why I asked
you to make two more when you get a chance * one to keep unused
and one to give as a gift to a friend just introduced to turkey
hunting this year.

The call is great! I have bought many over the counter calls and
had to hunt for the spot to make the sound. Your call I just pick
up and stared calling. I have hunted for over 20 years and have
had allot of calls. So far this is one of the easiest to use. I
will send you a picture of next years birds I call in. Thanks for
taking time to make this call, you really know what your doing.

My first Goulds and something you should recognize ( a little piece of "Beaner" for
history).
Thanks again!!! It's a great call!

Larry, Todd (his son), and I each took two fine Gobblers on this outstanding
hunt in old Mexico with El Halcon Outfitters. Now I've got to get serious on
NY birds the remainder of the month. Good Huntn; Ray

Got the call in the mail today. Wanted to let you know that I really like it.
Looks really nice. I really like the wormy look to it. The sound is real nice
as well it will play soft if you want and loud if you want too. It can play
clear or it can give you a nice rasp on the end. It also has a nice two note
yelp that some callmakers have trouble getting in there calls. It plays very
easy too. Thanks for the quick delivery.I will have it in my vest tomorrow,
opening day here
in PA. When the season is over maybe I can talk you into making me a wormy glass
call. Take care Larry and keep up the great work. Good luck hunting and be safe.

Hi Larry, just thought I`d drop you a line and let you know I killed a bird
today that I called in with that wormy butternut call you made me. I will
admit to using a different striker but that call sounds great with any
striker I have. I also got home to find the mailman had left me a note saying
I have
a package to pick up and the only thing that should be coming is your call.
Here`s a couple pics of a nice 2 year old Canadian bird,
thanks again Pete
